CERA is typically a summer plankton, with its scientific name being Ceratium Hirundinella. We can distinguish CERA apart from all of the other dinoflagellates because it is elongated and also has two horn-like shaped antlers. Its larger, longer body makes it proudly stand out from everyone else. It also has a whip-like tail that allows it to propel itself through water. Always enthusiastic and eager to go on adventures, CERA loves exploring with their buddy, PORA

PORA, CERA’s cousin, has the scientific name of Protoperidinium. However, we can call it by its nickname of PORA. This dinoflagellate character’s body is generally on the smaller side with a spherical shape and a tail that lets it elegantly glide through its aquatic environment. PORA is someone who loves obtaining more knowledge. Although introverted, it still likes CERA’s company and with this, we can go on a journey to explore biology and the mysteries that come with it.
